19-year-old Baltimore native Odelia Elliott creates music that feels like a eulogy to fading memories. Her songs exude a distinct and deeply affecting sense of yearning and melancholy by blending hauntingly emotional vocals with guitar mastery.

Odelia’s musical journey began at age 5, when Jimi Hendrix’s “Foxy Lady” inspired her to pursue a dream of becoming a rock star. By age 11, she was honing her skills at School of Rock Baltimore. She deepened her dedication at the Baltimore School for the Arts, where she majored in jazz and classical guitar, graduating in 2024. That summer, she refined her craft further at the Grammy Camp songwriting program in Los Angeles.

Drawing inspiration from artists like Mannequin Pussy, Adrianne Lenker, Leo Brouwer, and Indigo De Souza, Odelia’s sound is as diverse as it is distinctive. Her methodical approach to music creates complex motifs, while her willingness to experiment results in fresh sonic landscapes.

Odelia thrives on collaboration, working with bands, artists, and producers to push boundaries and explore bizarre sounds. She and her band have headlined shows at iconic Baltimore venues like The Ottobar, Wax Atlas, The Undercroft, and Patterson Park.

Now studying at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) in the UK, Odelia continues to carve a path as a dynamic artist.
